Sunday looks a bit showery into the afternoon at Old Trafford. One/two interruptions possible but largely fine. Detail on shower timing and location likely to change between now and then though. #INDvPAK #CWC19 https://twitter.com/saiyoyo18/status/1139442843553079296
Something not quite right about this @bbcwthrwatcher picture this morning but I can't quite put my finger on it
Any help appreciated?
It hasn't been a great week for the #CWC19 with rain but we'll definitely get a result at Southampton today!
Odd shower clearing quickly this morning and turning sunnier through the day... #bbccricket #ENGvWI @bbctms
Not promising completely dry and sunny weather over the weekend but hoping we can all at least accept 'better' than the week just gone?
Here's your weekend planner... #FridayFeeling
You might struggle to find that #FirdayFeeling on a gloomy, very wet start to the day but hopefully you'll start feeling it later.
Rain clearing to sunny spells (and showers) and a bit warmer than recently...
That optimism of some play I had this morning at #TrentBridge is disappearing rapidly with the latest rainfall radar image. Doesn’t look like any dry spells between these showers will be enough for the ground to cope! #bbccricket #CWC19
Fed up of the rain? No signs of prolonged dry, sunny, warm weather on the horizon but it's at least looking dry-er, sunny-er and warm-er as we head into the weekend and through next week.
Some lucky enough to stay dry and clear last night also had the added bonus of viewing some rare noctilucent clouds!!
These are formed of ice crystals and found some 200,000ft up in part of the atmosphere known as the mesosphere. Aircraft usually fly at around 30,000ft
While many have had very heavy rain overnight, the focus of today's rain will be in SE Scot where there is a @metoffice amber warning. Travel and flooding problems likely...
Relentless rain for many since the weekend (giving almost 3 months worth in Shropshire) is now taking its toll on some of Eng's rivers. 23 @EnvAgency flood warnings currently in force...
For the second time in a week, the @metoffice has issued an amber warning for rain. This time in SE Scot from early hours Thurs where we could see 80-100mm of rain over higher ground and potential flooding issues.
Rain in the N & W will ease this afternoon but while that's going on, thunderstorms will develop in the SE with further heavy and persistent rain moves into E Anglia and spreads NW #messy
