Just saw @ChristianYelich walk in the hotel on crutches. Understandably crushed. Injuries are part of the game, he will recover. But, these players put a lot into performing at this level. To see a talent like that, at the top of his game, have a season end like that, is brutal.
Thank You to all those who have reached out over the last couple days it means a lot. Frustrating way for a season to end but these things happen in sports. I will be just fine and am looking forward to making a full recovery and supporting the boys the rest of the season

REPORT: The #Brewers lose Christian Yelich for the rest of the season after fracturing his right knee cap. That honestly hurt to watch....
Sports injuries suck. Injuries to great players involved in a playoff chase really suck. Injuries to a guy who carried his team, did it with class, became a prominent face of the sport...really, really....you get it. Hang tough @ChristianYelich.
Unfortunately, Christian Yelich is done for the season. But what a season it was.
The fact that Yelich is missing the rest of the season is heartbreaking even if you’re not a Brewers fan
Christian Yelich will miss the rest of the season with a fractured kneecap.
Yelich's season OPS will finish at 1.100, the highest in a qualified season in Brewers history.

Christian Yelich in the last calendar year:
If that had been one actual season, you know how many players have ever had one like it?
That would be nobody!
#TBT to the best moments of @ChristianYelich’s season.
Is he your MVP?
Cubs and Dodgers fans who are happy that Yelich got injured:
Ugh. Yelich finishes at .329/.429/.671 (172 wRC+) with 44 HR, 97 RBI, 100 R, 30 SB and 7.7 fWAR.
An incredible season, stopped short. https://twitter.com/Brewers/status/1171615520719814658
