You can accidentally use your housemate's coffee instead of your own but I'm struggling to see how you manage this https://twitter.com/joncstone/status/1173878174058536960

I was watching the prorogation supreme court case but switched it off as there weren't enough jokes.

I ignore them, per house style, and arrange their names properly for them. The one exception we have is VMware on the grounds that Vmware looks like an autocorrect error instead of a name.

My favourite was a company that had a "|" in there and got very stroppy when we left it out. Tough luck.

send 'em packing. We only allow this on the most famous household names. Otherwise we tell them to bog off.

Dear journalists,

How do you feel when a company asks you to put their name in all caps in a piece you've written? I tend to send them packing. The same applies to companies that start with a lowercase letter, whereby I insist on uppercase, especially after a full stop.

Interesting scoop from @JamesLiamCook. I wonder if this is part of a change in strategy or possible future exit, since it seems to be focused on marketing folk. Hopefully, the employees affected will safe land. https://twitter.com/JamesLiamCook/status/1173633002347405312

Well in fact, James, since 2010 you’re *this* party:

🔹Culled 15k NHS beds
🔹Cut half our NHS district nurses
🔹Cut over 6k mental health nurses
🔹Created 42k nurse & 10k doctor vacancies
🔹Caused junior doc mass strikes
🔹Crippled NHS morale

And I trust actions, not words. https://twitter.com/JamesCleverly/status/1173221048348827648

On @AndrewMarr9 this morning, Home Secretary @patel4witham was allowed to claim, unchallenged, that she had “never in my time as a Member of Parliament been an advocate” for capital punishment.

Here is a clip of Priti Patel MP advocating for capital punishment in 2011: https://twitter.com/barristersecret/status/1154083030954385408
